About
When my daughter was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer, I needed to do something to get my mind off cancer and also do something to help in some way. In addition, I wanted to do something for my daughter's future grandchildren so that they would know their grandmother and remember her. I decided to make a book featuring my daughter and was encouraged to make it available for others in the same situation.
Your loved one will have their face cartoonized by Lyrebird Studio and I will use that picture on the person in the book. I am hopeful these books will become special keepsakes for you and cherished for many years.
FIRST BOOK
"My Trip to see the Animals"
This book is a regular hard cover book ( 8 1/2" x 11" ) for children who can take care of their books. I will cartoonize your loved one's face and then I use it throughout the book. Choice of outfit can be chosen for the first half of the book where the main character visits a farm. (See Gallery below) The back half is visiting a zoo and will wear a zoo tee shirt and khaki pants.
There are 20 separate pages with your loved one portrayed, with a total of 42 pages in all.
COVER
The cover can be plain as above or you can have two lines with one child's name. Examples to the right. The first line must be short and nicely worded, or you can have just their name printed on the cover. If you order more than one book, each book can have a different name on the front.
DEDICATION PAGE
This dedication page is the first page of the book and is where the full uniform would be used if chosen. Otherwise it can be one of the jeans and shirts listed.
The wording on this page can be changed if you are not dedicating it to someone who has lost their life or not expected to be here for the child. Examples are shown to the left. Otherwise, the heading will read 'Dedicated to the Brave and the Strong' along with 'We will never forget you' at the bottom of the page.

Skin Colors
I will do my best to match the skin color from the picture you send to me.
CHOICES
Your book has several options . . . . you have a dedication page where you can choose which uniform or outfit you desire and you can also choose what heading you wish on the dedication page. If you choose to write your own heading, it must be clean and appropriate, and I will make that determination at my discretion. You will also choose which outfit to use in the first half of the book and you will need to give me the first name or nickname of your honored adult to be used.
The Gallery below shows your different clothes options. Clothes chosen must match the gender of the photo used.
PRICING
(For the immediate future, all orders must be shipped to an address in the United States)

For each order placed, there will be a $30 set-up fee and each book will cost $40. Your total cost covers my set-up fee, the publisher's fee, paperwork , tax, and shipping.
Therefore, if you order:

Each additional book on that same order will be $40.00 each.
If you order just one book, and then come back another day within one year and want to order more of that same book, there will only be a $10 set-up charge for that order plus the $40 for each additional book.
